Tan enhancers have been around for years and if you’re were around when the first self-tanners came out, you’ll probably remember how it gave you an orange glow more than a tan. Fortunately, self-tanners today work faster and look more natural. If you’re not sure how to apply a self-tanner, here are some tips. Give yourself a couple of hours before the tan enhancer kicks in without it staining your clothes. Exfoliate your skin well before applying the tanner. Apply the product in a circular motion to prevent streaks. Use it sparingly in your knee, ankle, foot, and elbow areas.
