When you shampoo your hair, you wash out and remove other impurities from your scalp and hair. To do this properly, brush your hair and remove the tangles before you start shampooing. This will prevent your hair from breaking or falling off due to tugging. It’s better to use warm water rather than hot water since warm water does the trick of effective cleansing.

The amount of shampoo you should use depends on your hair length. A dime sized dollop is enough for short hair; for medium hair, you need a nickle-sized amount. Salon shampoos are more concentrated than other commercially available shampoos so you should use smaller amounts of these.

Massage the shampoo in for three minutes, using slow circular motions. Follow it with a conditioner.

Whiteheads are a mild form of acne caused by a build up of oil, dead skin, and sebum. They’re tiny white spots that form when a skin pore closes up and traps bacteria underneath the skin. They grow on different parts of the face but are usually spotted on the cheeks near the eyes.

To prevent the growth of whiteheads, always clean your face twice daily with skincare products that match your skin type. Facial cleansers with alpha hydroxyl and salicylic acid usually help unclog your pores. Exfoliate your skin twice or thrice a week, especially on problem areas. Get a gentle exfoliator with small particles since these encourage the growth of healthier skin cells. Finally, take the time to steam your face once a week to cleans your skin and loosen up any debris that might be embedded on it.
