The eyes are the most expressive parts of your face and can be used to highlight them taking attention away from other parts of the face. Use highlight shades under the eyebrows and near the tear duct area to create bright-eyed open eyes that speak a ton of words. Younger women can use shimmer shades while older women should stick to sheer and matte colors. These highlight shades come in many colors such as champagne, pink, white, vanilla, iridescent and gold. They give the eyes a seemingly unreal glow highlighting them and calling attention to them.

1 Comment to Eyes – Windows to the Soul
My favourite style of makeup is to focus on the eyes and keep other features soft. Older women can in fact wear shimmer, but it is best to keep it at a minimum. The best way is to wear it only on one or two areas, just to be safe…i.e. the eyelids and browbone only, with the rest of the face matte.
