To apply to top lashes without mess, tilt your head back. With bottom lashes, tilt your head forward slightly. This really does help to keep the mascara wand away from your skin and onto your lashes only!

If you cannot get that eight hours (as many of us can’t) then concealer beneath the eyes and a white eyeliner pencil applied on the inside rim of the lower lash line does wonders to lift tired eyes!

Yes and a quick brush-on of bronzer can do wonders in such a short time, even if it is used only on the temples and cheeks to contour. Another tip to give a youthful glow in a short amount of time is to pop a bit of blush onto the end of your nose…sounds strange but it really does work – not too much though!

Another great tip is to zig-zag mascara wand up the lash from base to tip – this helps to coat every lash and separate to avoid clogging.

Another tip to plump lips is to place a small dot of shimmer in the centre of the bottom lip and between the peaks of the cupid’s bow on the top lip!

My favourite style of makeup is to focus on the eyes and keep other features soft. Older women can in fact wear shimmer, but it is best to keep it at a minimum. The best way is to wear it only on one or two areas, just to be safe…i.e. the eyelids and browbone only, with the rest of the face matte.
